Handlebar Width Calculator — Correct Bar Width
Find the right handlebar width from your shoulder measurement.
How We Calculate This
Handlebar Width Selection
Recommended Width = Shoulder Width + Style Adjustment
The base measurement is rounded to the nearest standard handlebar size. Racing riders often go 2cm narrower for aerodynamics, while gravel/touring riders go 2cm wider for stability.
Measurement methods
Shimano and SRAM measure centre-to-centre. Some brands (3T, Zipp) measure outside-to-outside, which reads ~2cm wider for the same bar.
